Born in 1885 in San Saba, Texas. Son of E.E. Risien, an early San Saba County settler, who emigrated from Dover, England. E.E. Risien developed early water works in San Saba and pioneered the growth and development of the pecan industry by starting a nursery and pecan orchard. E.
